Owen Gusman, trainer and Cashflow 101 game-leader, kindly offered to hold a FREE session for Aim & Aspire Women’s Business Club members. Thank you Owen!

We ran these game sessions a few times before, they are fun but also get you thinking about how you are managing your money, both personally and in business!
No knowledge of maths or accounting is required, but you might want to bring a calculator.

Do you want to become financially smart, and finally understand the basics of money management?

‘Cashflow 101’
is a boardgame designed by investor, businessman, and self-help author Robert Kiyosaki (‘Rich Day, Poor Dad’) to serve as a tool for learning basic financial strategies, accounting and investment principles (useful both in business and personal life) in a fun and engaging way!

The game has two stages, and we will be playing the first stage, also called a ‘Rat race’, which takes approximately 2 hours to complete.

Through playing this game, you will learn the basic of:

  • Money managment
  • Cashflow
  • Balance sheets
  • Income statements
  • Your own habits with money
  • Spotting potential financial investments
  • Financial strategy

There are max 6 characters in the game, so we will play in pairs – 2 people per character. So the max number of participants is 12.

Trainer and game-leader: Owen Gusman, a certified master life coach (AmericanUniversity of NLP) and business consultant. Originally from Malta, Owen got involved in Personal development while working in Japan 10 years ago. It was there he discovered ‘Cashflow 101’ boardgame, and has been playing it ever since, and helping other people get the most out of every single game played.

‘Entertaining Accounting – Understanding Company Accounts Through the Eyes of a Plumber ©’, 23 April

April 1, 2013

Company Accounts presented in a completely new light!

No jargon, no meaningless acronyms, no mental torture and embarrassment, just plain English and common sense.

You will only need to understand the workings of the Wonderful Water Machine (WWM) created for this course. The WWM will turn money into water and water into money so that it is transparent to YOU and also to Start-up Entrepreneurs, CEOs, Chairmen, Solicitors, Business Owners, Directors, Managers … who would rather focus on business than accounting “gobbledygook”.

What you will gain from the knowledge.

  • You will gain an extraordinary confidence in yourself.
  • You will feel the power of being in charge of your own destiny – your business will follow the direction you want it to go and you will be in control.
  • You will concentrate your efforts where they are most needed and thus become efficient.
  • You will never again need to wait until the year-end accounting period (when it’s too late!) to find out whether your business is on the right track or not

·         Find out why being fit and healthy is essential, if you want to be a truly successful business woman

·        Learn a simple tool to prepare your mind as well as your body for health and fitness success

‘Manage Stress and Build Up Resilience’; 29 November

November 4, 2012

The World Health Organisation declared stress to be the most lethal diseases of the 21st century. We all experience that managing and resolving stress as one of the big challenges in our private and professional lives. Stress-related behaviour patterns and illnesses are damaging individuals and businesses alike.

The question is not only how to make the most of your time but foremost how to handle stressful situations!

The first step is to understand how our body and mind develop symptoms and how to listen to these warnings.

The second step is to question your personal expectations and self-esteem.

The third step is your secret weapon -  building up your level of resilience!

In this interactive workshop you will learn how to:

  • understand how stress effects your body and mind
  • read the symptoms and take conscious action
  • avoid thinking mistakes
  • manage your emotions and expectations in stressful situations
  • implement anti-stress strategies
  • build up resilience
  • loose the superwoman complex
  • increase your self-esteem

Clear Your Clutter – Manifest Your Dreams! ; 23 Oct

September 8, 2012

You know how decluttering works; in theory.

So why is it almost impossible to make a start? If you are seeking the motivation to get going and the inspiration to keep going, look no further!

This workshop invites you on a journey of discovery that reveals why we find it difficult to let go, even though we can clearly sense that most of the stuff we have surrounded ourselves with does us no good.   ‘Clutteritis’ symptoms are excessive worrying, complaining, feelings of fear or being burnt out, struggling to find meaning in being.

Clutter clearing is far more than organising; it means tackling our thoughts and emotions. It is a process that empowers us to get closer to who we are, so we can live to our full potential.

Clutter clearing is an empowering adventure – a master class of life skills.

We discover key concepts for joyful living and find out how to:

  • embrace change
  • make the right decisions
  • switch from fear mode into trust mode
  • stop reacting and start acting
  • break free from self-imposed limitations
  • draw healthy boundaries
  • develop intuition and self-esteem

Speaker: Birgit Medele (www.clearofclutter.com), professional organiser, declutter expert / fairy, author, and motivational speaker. The english version of her bestselling book ‘Clear Your Clutter – Manifest Your Dreams! An initiation into the art of letting go.’ is set to be published in the UK in October.
