“Crowdfunding” workshop + networking; 11 July

Join us and find out how you could use crowdfunding to both raise the finance you need , and at the same time promote your business and gain supporters and customers!

You will learn about:

  • How the crowdfunding process works
  • How it could benefit your business
  • The difference between donation, reward, debt and equity models
  • The preparation and costs involved
  • Different crowdfunding platforms and how to choose the right one for your business

Lana Hersak, a SFEDI accredited business adviser with an extensive experience of advising, supporting and training start ups, small businesses and social enterprises. Lana currently runs a community micro-finance project at London Rebuilding Society, and is a director and co-founder of Aim & Aspire Ltd.

We are very pleased to announce that we will also be joined by Jartua Gilpin, founder and director of Morynga (www. morynga.com). She has recently used the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform to successfully raise funds for her business, and she will be sharing her experiences and insights with us.

Sorry ladies, we had to put up the prices a bit! : (   The venue costs are high, and while we’ve been keeping the prices artificially low for most of this year, we can no longer afford to do this. Aim & Aspire Women’s Business Club receives no subsidy or funding, and we have to meet all event costs just from the ticket sales.
